Meet French Toast, a 14.3-hand, 10-year-old sorrel gelding who is a super cute mover, smooth, and easy-going finished reiner. This good gelding is ready to go show and has a background as a ranch horse, making him an excellent candidate for VRH events or everyday joy rides. He’s been used on the ranch, confidently ponying colts and handling everything from crossing water and brush to working around machinery, traffic, dogs, and all the chaos that comes with kids and busy ranch life. He’s also accustomed to gun fire and is trained to curbside mount for any level rider. Calm and dependable, this is the kind of horse that can handle any amount of time off and remain just as pure and broke.
Our eight-year-old daughter has also ridden French Toast English and hauled him to some local horse shows, showcasing his gentle and safe nature. Additionally, he has been used to drag calves and rope slow calves, further more proving how versatile he truly is.
French Toast has a beautiful extended trot, smooth and easy lead changes, precise spins and a big deep stop. He is light and easy to guide around and stays soft and supple. All of this paired with his seamless transitions, willing nature and athletic ability make him ideal for any rider, ranging from beginner to advanced showman.
Sired by the impressive Gunner’s Tinseltown (LTE of $300k +) it’s no accident this horse is as amazing as he is. This horse doesn’t have no in his vocabulary, no matter if your going for a weekend trail ride, going over a small jump, checking your cattle, joy riding through your town or headed to the horse show, French toast will be your partner in it all!
