Jackie is the cutest 12.1 hands bay roan pony mare you have ever laid eyes on. She’s the most perfect size with a sweet kind disposition a willing attitude and so so broke and gentle!!
Jackie’s resume is a long one so get ready! She’s been used for all the events at the playdays and Jr rodeos. She will go whatever speed you ask. Our kids have used her to gather, brand and ship cattle, she’s solid and quiet. She’s also been used to carry the flag in the grand entry, ridden in parades downtown, taken on many trail rides to the Palo Duro Canyon and the Canadian River and she’s even been rode English! Jackie is truly a versatile all around pony we just can’t say enough good about her!
My absolute favorite thing about Jackie is she NEVER gets fresh. Even when we leave her off for a long period of time, our little ones can still go catch her out of a pasture crawl on bareback and go for a joy ride. She’s happy to go!
It’s not un common to see our kids and their friends riding Jackie double after school to the neighbors house, or going to rope the sled, they have even rode her around fireworks and gun fire. Nothing phases her, she’s is a dream pony for any age or level child.
Jackie is broke broke too. She neck reins around with ease and trots smooth and has a soft lope. She has a spin that will make dads big horse look bad, stops like she should and side passes both ways. You can open and close gates on her use her to load trucks, pony colts, whatever you need she’s more than capable!
Jackie is the kind of pony that adapts to any level of child. from the little beginners to the kids that want to lope through the payday events or go rope a calf with dad Jackie fits the bill! She is truly one of a kind
Pip is a 14.2 hand bright sorrel gelding with proven ability and the credentials to match. His size makes him exceptionally handy for both youth and adults. He is an NRHA money earner and is double registered with the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association. He is sired by Gunnin For Chicks.
He is broke, correct, and easy to operate. Pip is a beautiful mover with natural cadence and easy, smooth transitions. He lopes balanced and level, has a comfortable jog, clean lead changes, correct spins, and a deep, quiet stop. He is soft in the bridle, responsive, and stays relaxed. Beginner and non-pro suitable, he is steady enough to build confidence while still having the training and quality to remain competitive. He is ready to step back into the reining pen or transition into the ranch classes.
Pip is safe and consistent, even with time off. Days, weeks, or months later, he saddles up the same—quiet, steady, and dependable.
Outside the arena, he is equally reliable. He has trail ridden through Palo Duro Canyon, crosses rough country confidently, and handles new environments with composure. He has been ridden through town in parades and is safe around traffic, crowds, noise, and commotion. He has crossed the Canadian River multiple times and remains steady wherever he goes.
Our 9-year-old daughter, Saylor, frequently uses Pip to gather our roping steers and to head out on early morning gatherings with her dad. He is steady, dependable, and confident in ranch situations.
He has a friendly, inquisitive personality and is enjoyable to be around. He meets you at the gate, handles easily on the ground, has perfect manners, no vices, and is simple to have around.
Sugar is everything her name suggests. She absolutely beautiful, sweet as can be and a true blue old fashioned baby sitter. This mare is without a doubt the gentlest, most forgiving and safest horse we have had in our barn maybe ever. She’s the mare you grab after months off and help your grandma climb on to go for a sweet trail ride through the canyons.
Sugar has been used on a ranch in the Texas panhandle gathering and sorting cattle. She’s very broke, soft and handy to ride. She has an easy trot and a soft slow lope that has a beautiful cadence. This mare is the definition of a good mover. She’s trained enough and has so much quality to her that she could go horse show in the weekends and then be your ranch horse or family horse during the week.
Sugar doesn’t know the word “no” whether our four yr old steers her down a steep raven to check the cows or he wants to lope out to catch the big kids, sugar is just happy to oblige. She has a big kind heart and never ever takes advantage of a green rider. She will happily go off alone or follow along with a group it doesn’t matter to her. She’s also super easy to catch and has a huge friendly personality while still maintaining perfect manners. This mare is a rare find everyone in our barn and family loves her. She is the horse we call on anytime we have a beginner or precious cargo on board, she never lets you down!
Sugar is trained to curbside mount for easy mounting anywhere you ride. She’s also been rode English and had the flag carried on her. Shes accustomed to heavy machinery, semis, dirt bikes, dogs, gun fire and fireworks, the amount of chaos that she will put up with is amazing! This Mare is so so tolerant, forgiving! She’s also super fun to crawl on bareback with just a string for a Sunday stroll!
This beautiful mare would be the absolute safest horse you could buy. Please come see her in person you’re bound to fall head over heels like the rest of us!
