Juke Box

Juke Box is a 13-hand bay roan gelding with the mind, heart, and ability of a true ranch horse—just in a size that fits kids, youth riders, or a small adult. He’s the kind you can put to work every day, then turn around and let a little cowboy climb on and have a safe, steady ride.

This pony has seen the miles and earned his keep. Juke Box has been used extensively on the ranch and in our back-country outfitting business. He’s gathered cattle in big, rough country, crossed creeks and steep terrain with confidence, and handled long days without ever quitting. He’s roped plenty outside and has the rate and mind you want in a junior rodeo prospect.

In the arena, Juke Box has heeled and breakawayed, and he’s well on his way to being an excellent junior rodeo horse. He’s handy, gritty enough to make runs, and quiet enough to keep kids safe. With exposure to the poles and the foundation he has, he’d also come on strong as a goat-tying or all-around youth pony. He’s the kind that gives kids confidence while still having the tools and ability to be competitive.

Juke Box is solid in town and around traffic, dogs, noise, and crowds. He’s been used in parades and in the grand entry, staying calm, straight, and dependable. He also crosses water without hesitation and rides out alone or with a group without any issues.

He’s a willing, people-oriented gelding with no holes, no nonsense, and the work ethic of a seasoned ranch horse. This pony has the experience, the exposure, and the heart to be a standout junior rodeo partner while still being safe and sensible enough for everyday riding at home.

If you’re looking for a ranch-raised, real-deal pony that can carry a kid through chores all week and then haul to a junior rodeo on the weekend, Juke Box checks every box.

Theodore

If you could design the perfect pony from scratch, he would look and act exactly like Theodore. Standing a precious 12.3 hands tall, this buckskin-and-white gelding is truly one of the cutest, kindest, and most trustworthy ponies on planet earth. Theo lives up to his name in every way—soft, gentle, polite, and carrying a quiet old-soul spirit that instantly settles both children and parents.
Beautifully and exquisitely trained, Theodore moves like a little show horse—floaty, balanced, and responsive—yet he stays simple, steady, and confidence-building for even the youngest or greenest riders. He’s the rare pony who makes parents feel at ease and kids feel unstoppable. His personality? If you could hand-pick every perfect trait and mold it into one pony… you’d get Theo.
One of Theodore’s most adored features is that he’s trained to curbside mount. Even the smallest kids feel independent when they can cluck to him and he quietly side-passes over to the mounting block, the fence, or whatever rock they’ve found out on the trail. He wants to help them succeed—every single time.
He is as versatile as he is trustworthy. Theo crosses water, rocky terrain, and anything else he encounters with calm confidence. He’s proven safe with unexpected wildlife and just as steady with the chaos of everyday ranch life—dirt bikes, skid loaders, trains, busy roads, barking dogs, you name it. He’ll ride off alone just as happily as he will with a group—nothing changes his easygoing demeanor. He’s even accustomed to gunfire and pays no mind to it.
Around home, he’s a valued partner. Our kids hop off the school bus, slide on his back bareback, loop nothing more than a little string around his neck, and guide him absolutely anywhere they want to go. He’s happy to stroll the pastures, check cows, explore new terrain, or simply stand tied like the world’s cutest yard ornament.
He’s also proven he can do just about anything the kids dream up. Our 8-year-old has taught him to go English, and he looks absolutely adorable loping around in an English saddle, stepping through trot poles, and even popping over little jumps with perfect rhythm and a big-hearted willingness.
Theo is easy to catch, endlessly patient, and carries impeccable manners that set him apart. He’s a joy to handle, a blast to ride, and the kind of pony who is always ready for the next adventure—no warm-up, no drama, no fuss.
Whether your family needs a starter pony for tiny beginners or a fancy, safe, competitive partner for a kid ready to step into the show ring, Theodore is absolutely that pony. He meets every child where they are and helps them shine.
Ponies like Theodore aren’t made—they’re heaven-sent.
A once-in-a-lifetime partner wrapped in an adorable buckskin and white package. Please call Cheyenne or Saylor with any questions. 806-282-7093

Koozie

Koozie — The Pony With Heart, Try, and All the Talent in the World

Koozie is the undisputed barn favorite—loaded with personality, charm, and more ability than most full-sized horses ever dream of having. He’s broke broke, the kind that lopes around with a gorgeous, rhythmic cadence, stays soft in his face and sides, and rides with total ease and feel. He’s got cute, slow spins, a deep, correct stop, and can long trot right alongside the best of the ranch riders.

But my very favorite thing about Koozie is his heart. It’s huge, kind, and steady—he wants to please every single ride. He doesn’t have a lazy bone in his body, yet he’s not a forward or rushy type either. He’s that perfect blend of willing and relaxed…exactly how we like them. Add in the fact that he’s flat-out gorgeous with a luxurious mane and tail, and he turns heads everywhere he goes.

Koozie has been part of our family for several years and has earned his place as one of the most dependable partners we’ve ever owned. Our kids have used him for early morning gatherings, sorting jobs, branding calves, and riding out with Dad to check cattle. He’s had a real job, just like a big horse—and it shows in everything he does. His manners are those iconic, old-school ranch-horse manners: respectful, honest, and ready to go to work. His work ethic is unmatched.

He crosses water with ease and is sure-footed in steep, rocky country—never hesitating, never rushing, always careful and confident. He’s also completely safe around traffic, dogs, and unexpected wildlife. Nothing ever seems to ruffle him; he simply carries on with that steady, dependable nature he’s known for.

He’s the same honest pony no matter what—even after time off. We’ve given Koozie up to two months off during the winter, and he saddles right back up just as broke, gentle, and reliable as ever.

Our kids have also taught Koozie some fun tricks—he can smile on cue and curbside mount, happily side-passing over to whatever rock, fence, or mounting block they point him toward. He rides bareback, double, or even bridleless with total ease, always staying gentle, tuned-in, and trustworthy.

On top of all that, our 8-year-old daughter Saylor has taught Koozie to go English over small jumps and trot poles, and she has even used him to proudly carry the flag. And when it comes to rodeos, Koozie is a total rockstar—our littlest boy, 4-year-old Townes, has hauled him to junior rodeos to run barrels, poles, goats, and even help push calves. Koozie takes care of him every step of the way, giving Townes the confidence to try it all with a big smile on his face.

This is a pony anyone would be proud to own—one that will teach your children what it’s like to ride a truly broke one. Safe, seasoned, stylish, and cool as they come…

Simply put, Koozie is just plain cool.
